$65-70K Senior Cost Accountant - – Saint Paul

Jen Cykman with AppleOne Employment Services is actively seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to work with an international medical manufacturing corporation in Vadnais Heights, MN. This company is growing and looking for someone with a comprehensive understanding of cost analysis in a manufacturing setting for this DIRECT-HIRE opportunity. They offer a competitive compensation package including salary, yearly bonus, full benefits, and ample PTO.

The primary purpose of this position is to manage the activities for the cost and financial analysis accounting functions. Responsibilities include the management of the cost accounting system and close process, development of standard product costs, development of budgets and forecasts for Manufacturing Operations and R&D, providing financial analysis for R&D new product development projects, and providing financial analysis for business development projects.

Qualifications include:
- Progressive Cost Accounting Experience in a manufacturing setting
- 4-year degree in Accounting
- Working knowledge of ERP systems. JD Edwards a BIG plus!!
- Experience utilizing a standard costing system in a manufacturing environment, lean manufacturing experience a BIG plus!!
