Summary:

This position is responsible for creating positive business results for key jumbo accounts, assuming the chief operating account manager role in executing a certified account business plan. The position achieves results by researching, developing and negotiating solutions for anticipated customer needs and defined plan strategies and tactics. Primary accountability for driving operational effectiveness and execution of the strategic business plan leading a cross functional account team.

Accountabilities:
1. Drive operational success by managing cross functional activities including performance guarantees, claims performance, care management and customer service.
2. Achieve financial success of account performance by tracking margin reports, billing statement, and enrollment. Identify trends, fluctuations, and work collaboratively with Principal Account Manager to ensure effective financial management.
3. Manage specific projects on behalf of customers. Communicate directly with client?s regarding specific project progress. Influence client to drive efficiencies and profitability.
4. Assist in legal, MII Life, Prime Therapeutics, and other necessary party negotiations contract language provisions, ASO agreement and exhibits changes, and oversight of contractual provisions.
5. Primary accountability for client reporting. Interface with account reporting and principal account manager to demonstrate analysis and draw action oriented conclusions.
6. Drive effective communication strategy, including assessment of current client collateral mailings including welcome packets, resource guides, summary plan documents, specific member mailings.
7. Manage and drive for growth opportunities including coordination and completion of RFP?s, completion of geo access, and disruption analysis. Communicate network changes and provide analysis of alternative network providers.
8. Assist and represent major accounts in internal workgroups. Drive for resolution and advance progress for key operational performance. Represent the voice of the customer in communicating client expectations to internal workgroups.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in related field required and a minimum of 3-5 years related sales or marketing experience.
Demonstrates a strong power of analytical reasoning
Financial acumen; ability to drive financial performance
Excels in project management
Develops resourceful solutions and is able to drive cross functional adoption of the solution
Builds customer loyalty through relationship management skills
Persuasive communications skills to influence clients and internal staff in order to achieve corporate objectives
