Market Planning Consultant – Saint Paul

Summary:
This position is responsible for strategic planning and marketing project management for the Medicare market segment. Works with Marketing Communications and outside vendors in the development of marketing collateral, direct mail and advertising. Oversees ongoing marketing activities and campaigns for existing and new products. Assists Market Segment Manager and Marketing Team Manager with market analysis, strategy, planning, and reporting.

Accountabilities:
1. Manage ongoing marketing efforts and marketing campaigns for Medicare Programs.
2. Identify market driven product needs and establish product development or enhancement recommendations and strategies.
3. Assist with marketing plans that drive successful enrollment growth. Plans include market analysis, growth objectives, cost benefit analysis as well as product and promotional strategies.
4. Develop and manage new product/program market introductions to include development of training modules.
5. Facilitate cross-company project teams focused on implementation of marketing plans or initiative achievement.

Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelors Degree in Marketing; Business or a related field, 5-7 years of marketing experience; or in lieu of degree, must have at least 9 years of marketing experience
2. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
3. Ability to excel and lead in collaborative work environment
4. Strong oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Medicare and/or health care industry preferred
