This is a VIRTUAL postion that can be worked from any place in the United States from either their home or local ACS office.



Major Position Responsibilities:

This position is expected to provide leadership in the implementation of a 3rd party COTS rules engine within a complex J2EE application. The candidate will be responsible for leading the design and development of rules architecture with a focus on performance and reuse. This requires a candidate must be able to perform analysis and develop components related to the rules architecture. This individual will play a role in both internal and customer specific implementations.

Responsibilities include:
Coordinates rules engine (Fair Isaac) installation, maintenance and configuration
Conducts Fair Isaac training for client and team peers
Assists and guides customer through rules definition and deployment process
Ensures that all customer rules customization meet Enterprise standards
Assists in optimization of rules
Assists in performance and load testing of customer specific rules
Maintains and verifies core Enterprise Rules integration

REQUIRED:
(MINIMUM)
The individual should have at least 5-10 years of I/T experience on a variety of platforms and technologies with at least 3 years of building N-Tier/SOA web-based business applications. In addition, this candidate must have 3-5 years of professional experience with the implementation of a 3rd party COTS rules engine, such as FairIsaac, within a J2EE application with an emphasis on reuse and performance. Ability to work a virtual team of individuals who may report administratively to other departments. Project leadership, project estimation, strong written and oral communications skills also required. Proven track-record of design and development of large, complex, transaction oriented, mission critical business systems and the ability to troubleshoot and tune such systems is an absolute must. The position routinely works under demanding deadlines and often handles heavy workloads, operating with only limited supervision. 25% travel should be expected.
